This is a migration tool for data from Access to MySQL.
Access-to-MySQL is a tool for migration of Microsoft Access databases to MySQL server. The program performs at a high level as the connections to the input as well as the output database do not go through another stage of ODBC or other middleware. Command line support allows you to script, automate and schedule the conversion process. This tool is compatible with all versions of Microsoft Access including MS Access 2012 and all versions of Linux/Unix and Windows MySQL servers. This tool will convert indexes and relationships between tables as well as MS Access queries into MySQL views. Users have an option to customize resulting table structure. Conversion settings could be saved into profiles for repeated reuse. You would be able to filter data using SELECT-queries. Also available is an option to merge MS Access data into an existing MySQL database.
Users also get options like ability to handle password protected MS Access databases, MS Access databases protected with user-level security and to export into MySQL dump file. You will be able to synchronize MySQL database with MS Access data that may include multi-byte characters. Virtual server users also will be able to use this tool easily. You will be able to specify MySQL storage engine and MySQL charset. Command line support is available. Interface is simple and is made even simpler with a wizard helping out the users. This tool will not convert forms, reports and Visual Basic scripts, system (hidden) tables, etc. The trial version will convert only 5 records per table. This is a very good tool and you should try this out in your workflow before paying up the registration fee.
